Our family is serving in Panama and the Meso Central Field. We love to share what God is doing in our lives and ministry. We are very thankful for your prayers and support.

Truth is…. Truth is…. I’ve been meaning to write this update for months now. Eli and I desire to do this way more often than we have, to keep our friends and family up to date on what’s going on with us and our ministry here in Panamá. From time to time we’re able to give updates via Facebook, email, Skype, and personal phone calls, but we desire to send out more formal updates. So here it goes…. WARNING: This is long! Reality is, we have three children ages 11, 4, and 1 year. Thing is, living abroad, we have no family living close. Eli and/or I are with our babies 24/7, which we LOVE don’t get us wrong. But fact is at the stages each of them are in, well, each stage comes with a different set of needs. And these needs, along with the housework, the ministry, and just everyday life keeps us going literally from sun up to way past sun down. I’m so thankful for my handsome husband who without fail, does his part and mor...
This Is Amazing Grace.... TAMMY SOTO · THURSDAY, JANUARY 14, 2016 It was six years ago today I first shook hands with and was introduced to Mr. Eliezel Soto as he was serving as the W&W coordinator for Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Panama. It was at the Nazarene Seminary in C.R. where our team from my home church in Adrian, MI was staying for the night before heading out on a 7 hour + bus ride the following day to Changuinola, Panama where we would be helping build a church. Many times I stop and think, what if I never would have obeyed God and went on that first missions trip of mine? Let me tell you, I was not raised in a missionary family, I was not raised in the Nazarene church, and I had no clue as to what missions was all about. At that time in my life I was working full time, blessed financially, enjoying fancy vacations, just enjoying the good life as I pleased. I was blessed in many ways. I was serving Christ but when I would come across the scripture abou...
Greetings from Panama City, Panama! We hope this newsletter finds you and yours well! In the midst of almost 1 1/2 years into the pandemic, things have been slowly opening up little by little here in Panama. Masks are still mandated in public throughout the entire country and there are still certain restrictions, depending on location. Vaccinations are rolling out fairly quickly now, thank the Lord! This past February, what was supposed to take place in South Korea in 2020, took place at our dining room table via Zoom! We had the honor and privilege to be commissioned as Global Missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene. It is only by the grace of God that we were blessed by this opportunity! Elianny, Esteban, and Esther all began the new school year this past March. Their school began virtual only, but a couple of weeks ago our kids were able to return semi face-to-face. They are over halfway into the school year, but are t...
